Dave Hyson is a familiar name for many in the plastics industry in Central Pennsylvania.

He has been involved in the Society of Plastics Engineers Susquehanna section for several years and is a past president.

Dave holds a bachelor’s in Plastics & Polymers engineering technology from the Pennsylvania College of Technology (Williamsport, Pa.) and a Master’s in Engineering & Management from the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio)

Prior to forming Hytech, he served as a Business Development Manager for Mack Molding covering the Mid-Atlantic region. Dave has also held leading sales positions with Reading-based Brentwood Industries and Integrity Plastics.

In addition to sales, he brings a great deal of processing expertise to the table, having developed molding validation protocols for Integrity Plastics, as well as New Concept Technologies when he served as their plant Manufacturing Engineer.
